Section 8.2 Bereavement Leave

8.2.1 When death occurs in the immediate family of any unit member, the unit member shall be entitled to up to five (5) days leave of absence with pay for bereavement.

8.2.2 "Immediate family" as used in this section, shall consist of mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, or a grandchild of the unit member or of the spouse of the unit member, and the spouse, son, daughter, brother, sister, aunt, uncle…
